Ky Theriault | Founder, VPD Climate Control

Since 2012, I've accrued over a decade of experience working on HVAC in Vermont, specializing in precision climate control systems. My experience includes working with some of the top local contractors, and more recently was a Senior Service Technician at Trane Technologies where I honed my technical skill in complex system troubleshooting and optimization. 

In 2025, I started VPD after recognizing an essential need in the industry: the separation between the conventional HVAC sector and the environmental exactness of commercial cannabis cultivation operations. As noted, most HVAC professionals are skilled in comfort cooling systems; however, few are versed in the range of climate parameters required for the health and yield of plants.

 Our goal is to bring cannabis growers the same level of technical support accessible to commercial contractors, at budgets compatible with Vermont's market.
